    Determix project is the online realization of biological databases and identification guides based on Lysandra platform (www.lysandrasoft.com). Taxonomical identification guides to various living organisms were already created by Lysandra software.
    All created products are available in Lysandra Online program, which is a further development of Lysandra Viewer, adapted for Internet.

    Lysandra Viewer program was invented by Kirill Dovgailo in 1999. He designed an initial appearance and scenario of the program, that simultaneously provides a convenient viewer for looking through the image galleries, text information and polychotomous key.

    A several of databases were created on the Lysandra platform, three of them were published: Fauna of Cryptocephalidae beetles, Butterflies of Belarus and Butterflies of Eastern Europe. Distribution of these databases was carried out on CD. Since this way excludes the possibility for quick supplementation and correction, it was decided to make all the data available in the Internet.

    We propose to your attention several demo databases with no need for registration, with free of charge access. These databases demonstrate the main facilities of Lysandra Online and available just after the program installation.

    Commercial versions of our databases contain the completely illustrated tool for identification, vast number of pictures and distribution maps.

    The co-authors of our databases are the leading specialists in the field of zoology, professionally qualified scientists and candidates of biological sciences. In the database accompanying text we propose each author’s resume.
